About Us
We are a mixed group of men and women and we sing for sheer enjoyment. The aim of the choir is just to enjoy singing once a week with other people who love to sing and have fun.
As we are a friendly crew, we appreciate the time we have each week to catch up and have a chat with other members.

The Fete
Vocal Zones Choir joined West Bergholt village in celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee at their fete on Saturday 4th June 2022. The village enjoyed our repertoire of songs, especially our lively rendition of ‘Sweet Caroline’ by Neil Diamond.
Free Choir Taster
The choir offers a free taster night for potential new members. There is no need for auditions – enthusiasm is far more important! If you do wish to join us after your free taster session it only costs £6 a session.
On arrival you will be welcomed by Bev Allen our new members coordinator.
If you decide to join the choir, you will be given a membership form and a welcome pack which contains general information about the choir, details of the choir committee, copies of the choir songs and our constitution.

Choir Rehearsals
Please join us on Tuesday evenings for an evening of song and laughter. We start at 7pm and finish at 8.45pm.
There is no need to book in advance simply turn up and join in. Everyone (regardless of your ability to sing) is welcome, absolutely no auditions needed! Your first night is a taster session and is free, it is then a payment of £6.00 each week.

Weekly Choir Sessions
The sessions are lead by Emma Bishton who is an enthusiastic and experienced musical director. Emma leads each session on a keyboard or piano whilst conducting the group……..a lady of many skills!
Each session starts with a warm up, then around an hours singing. We end the evening with song requests!
